Values Challenge

About us

Our Mission

Values Challenge began with two educators who came to the UAE to teach and quickly realised how much this country had given us. Learning about schools with so many different curriculums, from British to American to IB, we saw how easy it was for the rich culture and heritage of the UAE itself to become just one small part of a much bigger picture. We wanted to give something back, by helping children celebrate that culture and carry its message forward. We also wanted to create something specifically for our Emirati students, a space where they could showcase and take ownership of their own culture and heritage, and where the rest of us could learn from and alongside them.

That experience shapes our mission today: to empower every child across the UAE to live and celebrate the values widely celebrated across the nation.

We believe character education is the foundation of a thriving society, and we’re committed to delivering practical, hands-on programmes that nurture leadership, generosity, tolerance and a genuine pride in the culture and heritage of the country children call home, while supporting schools in reflecting the priorities of KHDA, ADEK, SPEA and MoE.

Why We Created the Values Challenge

The Values Challenge was born out of a simple but powerful need: to make the values widely celebrated across the UAE real and meaningful for every child, every day.

We listened, observed and created a solution that brings those values to life through real world challenges, reflection and celebration.

Provide clear, practical evidence to support inspections

Save teachers' time with ready to use resources

Engage families and the wider school community

Support inclusion for Students of Determination

Foster a genuine appreciation for the culture and heritage of the country children call home

Our Approach

We believe that values are best learnt by doing. Our approach is built on:

Experimental Learning

Our Impact

The Values Challenge has been created to support schools across the UAE to:

Provide robust evidence for inspections

Improve student engagement and confidence

Foster leadership, teamwork and a sense of belonging
