Welcome to the Values Challenge! It’s an exciting programme that helps children learn and live the UAE’s core values through practical, hands-on challenges. Across 8 unique activities, students explore values like Tradition & Heritage, Family, Leadership, Generosity, Tolerance & Respect, Sustainability & Environment, Excellence and Innovation, applying them at home, school and in their community.
Children document their journey as they bring values to life through real-world challenges. Designed for primary schools across the UAE, the programme promotes character development in an engaging way while providing meaningful evidence to support inspections by all relevant educational bodies.
The Values Challenge transforms abstract concepts into meaningful actions, helping students understand what it means to live with respect, compassion and integrity. Each challenge is carefully designed to be age-appropriate, building on prior learning to deepen understanding and consolidate key values over time.
The Values Challenge offers four distinct levels, each tailored to the developmental stage of students from Year 3 to Year 6. Each level builds on the previous one by introducing new ways for students to demonstrate values within their community and household.
Each completed level earns the student a luxury certificate printed on premium textured card and a beautiful, enamel-style badge that students wear with pride. These are more than rewards – they’re powerful symbols of belonging, growth and achievement.
To further strengthen inclusive practice, we also offer Level 2 Support Packs for each year group across Years 3 to 6. These packs are designed to help Level 2 children access and complete the mainstream editions of the Values Challenge. By providing scaffolded versions of each challenge, along with tailored resources such as sentence starters, visual prompts and simplified vocabulary, the support packs ensure that children who benefit from additional support can participate meaningfully alongside their peers.
*No additional cost alongside mainstream editions.
We believe every child can succeed in developing character. The Determined Edition is designed specifically for Students of Determination, offering accessible pathways to success with a strong emphasis on life skills and independence.
Featuring simplified instructions, visual supports and differentiated tasks, it ensures meaningful engagement for all learners. This edition also provides schools with clear evidence of inclusive practice, aligned with national and emirate-level inclusion frameworks and supports compliance with KHDA, ADEK, SPEA and MoE expectations.
